Week Extension + Phase II CR Post!

Hello, everybody!

After some mod deliberation, we have decided to extend Week #31 by another OOC week. We mentioned this was possible, and we know several of you were against it, but we feel it is necessary. We do not quite have everything lined up to launch Phase II and would rather not have the IC events prompting it go up after it’s started. We also would rather get a few things out of the way. We’re sorry about this!

However, because it is so soon, we think this is a good time for this weekend’s meme: a new CR post! Since Phase II means everyone, whichever world they originated from, is on the same world, a lot of new CR has opened up!

So, it is time for planning and discussion! Feel free to tag in, explain what you expect your characters to do at the start of Phase II, and make ideas with each other.

Ashtaroth will be basically wherever Rhys and Victor are, so predominantly Bastan, but then between Bastan and the Undertow once it's cured. She'll be free for CR anywhere there, easy to bump into or if anyone needs a cleric for anything. She'll probably be a little curious about Theresa, and Fall City will be much more welcome than Giza in terms of what Earth has to offer. She'll probably get caught up more in Order business, as their already small number has been further reduced due to war.

Ezra will be busy working to rebuild Bastan and organizing parties to go out into the rest of Everea to make sure everything is settled there, too, and may join a couple of those parties while he's at it, just to get a good look around. Could do something about that?

He will also still, in a sense, be recovering, what with getting a new eye, and will probably start looking into better armour and weaponry, plus all the training. He thinks a lot of what happened to him was a failing on his part, so he'll be doing what he can to correct that.

Also his family is there because Underwood will be hitching a ride? Hello Amoses how are you tonight my there are a few of you. This might sound terrible but I don't want to RP any of them really so I might slide them in as an aside here or there but bleh to family members.

Theresa will be seriously considering joining a guild in order to protect herself better in the hopes of taking some of the pressure off of Gunnar once they're in Zenderael. (Considering druid because I don't want two mages, but mage will work out for her too, tbh.)

Nadir will just be all "yes finally" because Earth was okay but let's face it, Zen is better. He may stick around Bastan a bit for Rhys and Ezra but ultimately get back to possible adventuring.

Reilanin will be at the World Library doing what Reilanins do, which is enchanting stuff. She has no personal agendas or plans and will be doing Upas enchanting business along with her regular stuff without much regard for who she's doing it for.

Keeping Chisaki's CR up with Victor and probable CR with Ash up sounds like it would be a good idea!

I figure Lera will be visiting Ezra some like we discussed, ha ha. She could also meet Nadir again, which would probably be fun given how the last one went. She might get some training for him or ask to come along on a hunt or two to practice her abilities in front of him?

Lera should also bump into Ash for realsies.

There could also conceivably be Ty or Travis and Theresa interactions? Especially if Ty is doing things with Gunnar.

yep, I am all for chisaki and ashtaroth, especially possible clashing if ash finds out she's molavvas?

Lera and everyone sounds good yes. Nadir will be hanging out with Ezra for a little bit to work out some kinks anyway.

Ah yeah, Theresa is always interested in the people Gunnar hangs out with, so if he came by and Gunnar was out she'd probably invite him in if she knew he'd be back sooner rather than later? Something like that could always happen.

Sure! It'd be easy enough if Ash ever has to heal her, which we could set up.

And yeah, it sounds like Lera and Nadir will basically be in the same place next week which should work out fabulously for them getting a log in!

And yes, this'd work with Tyrus. This could even get a little crazy since Duncan knows Travis, so if he came by after a couple times, he'd see Tyrus (who, obviously, looks identical, he just changes clothes and takes out the brown contacts).

well, if Lera ever even has reason to visit Rhys, that'd be a good place, too! Ash hangs out around Rhys and his various alts a lot in her spare time, so it doesn't even have to be something potentially life-threatening that has them hanging out.

Lera and Nadir also possible since Nadir is likely to hang out with Missie and will be hanging around Ezra for a bit before he decides to head out, so lots of possibility there. Be prepared for old man ramblings about being in spellsword service?...

Nova will meet Ash again! And they can both be disgruntled about crossing paths! But perhaps get along a little better by the end of it since Victor and Chisaki are shaping up to be pals?? Like a forced friendship by association or something.

And someday meet Theresa. I doubt he'd be able to figure out who she was, so it should be easy for her to conceal her identity if she wants. Though maybe pretending to be an alt is a bad plan...

And Reilanin!!! Oh no he shouldn't have neglected you Reilanin!!! what do you mean you didn't notice

And don't forget their commiserating on the comms over illnesses and such! They know they can speak civilly to one another, they just have to put some effort into it.

Yeah, Theresa would never think to make up an identity for herself :|a So I don't think that'll be an issue.

Oh Nova she would have noticed ): She's just not in the mood to see much of anyone, really. Maybe come back in a hundred years and she'll be ready for interpersonal relationships again.

Duncan and Ezra will probably be seeing a lot of each other in Phase II.

And we've discussed Duncan/Theresa already

And there will probably be some Ravi/Rei back and forth visiting?

I would like to do more with Ash/Artemis but we just need to facilitate it somehow!!

Thank goodness, someone who does not have a distracting twirly moustache. He is fine with this. I imagine the two of them would get along well? He would also be grateful if you were to take your job seriously from the getgo. (He doesn't say this thinking you wouldn't, but because past experiences leave him wary.)

Ah yes, once Rei starts to open up more she will be more amenable to back and forthing. the issue will be getting her to open up again. :|a;;

yeah, ash/artemis is a hard one because I don't really know where artemis is heading. she'll be back and forth between bastan and the undertow once it's healed... though, if she and victor become friends with nova and chisaki, she might somehow end up hanging out with nova and there? We will work on things.

omg Ezra he is taking it so seriously, SO SO SERIOUSLY please be prepared for random stress freakouts this is what Duncan does. But yeah I can see them getting along well p easily, esp since Duncan's not taking the job lightly by any means.

I don't really know where Artemis is heading either so whoops! He's just kind of on track to develop organically from here. But he will be fixing things with Nova so there's def cross-CR potential, and he's decided he wants to be better about keeping in touch with Ash because he does care about her. Basically a "we'll see" I guess!
