[MOD POST] - AC requirements
We've re-evaluated player activity based on current trends and we have decided to adjust our AC requirements.

Since the player/alt divide is much less important now, instead of splitting the activity on a player/alt line, we're going to start splitting it on a Zen/Earth line. For the most part, this actually means decreased activity requirements overall.

So the new activity rules are as follows:

Characters on Earth: 2 logs (20 points)
Characters on Zenderael: 1 log (10 points)

The points system as outlined in the AC post still applies: logs are worth 10, posts 5, comments 1. Dragonmails are treated the same way, similar to PMs: the original post is 5 points and the comments to it are 1.

Plus two new rules:
- Hiatuses max at one month, unless it is an extenuating circumstance
- 3 AC failures in a row means we drop that character, alt or PC. The count on that starts this month.

August pre-AC
Has been completed.

A lot of people seem to be struggling this month. Do you guys think we need to lower AC reqs for PCs who have been pulled into Zen?

Go ahead and use this post to arrange things with fellow players for activity!

July pre-AC
Has been completed. (Wow I have been really sporadic on whether or not I make an AC post for the month.)

Exempt (apped this month):
- Ashtaroth
- Evelyn
- Siegmund

Everyone in danger of failing has been notified by e-mail.

And here is a notice of changes made to AC requirements due to world-switching and other developments.

For alts:
- If an alt has 0 logs, 2 dragonmails counts to pass AC
- An earth-alt with 0 logs can pass on 2 OL posts or 10 OL comments

For PCs:
- Posting and responding to a dragonmail is counted the same as posting and commenting to an OL post (posting = 5 points, comments = 1 point ea). We decided on this to keep things simple for us (AC is already really complicated you guys)
- Real alts' logs will not count toward PC AC, regardless of which world the alt is in

Questions/comments/concerns?

Feel free to use this post as a means to arrange activity if you are in need of it.

May AC
Whoops I didn't do a post for pre-AC this month. OH WELL.

The good news is this month's AC went extremely well and I don't think it reflects a need to change the AC standards.

(Also if you were on an extended hiatus, I kicked you off. You will need to inform me of future haituses.)

April AC
Whoo, finally.

And finally, a question. But I will post it with Duncan's account because only paid users can create polls, so stay tuned!

Activity Check
Activity check has been done and notifications sent out.

People still on hiatus for March included:
- Myf
- Panda
- Snapple

Also, the next weekchange has been changed to April 15th. I haven't been able to get in touch with Snapple and I need her input before I can write another weekchange, so this is to give myself some room.

Activity Check
Has been completed. If you failed, you got an e-mail notifying you of it.

I'm not really comfortable posting the failures on the comm because it feels like publicly calling people out, so I'm not going to do that. If you really want to know who failed, you can figure it out yourself anyway.

Instead I'm going to list the changes players should be aware of, who's on hiatus and who's been apped or dropped this month.

Under a cut )

I've got comments screened on this post so if there's something you'd like to say, feel free to let me know. (And if you want your comment unscreened, say so in the comment.)

I've noticed game activity has broadly been rather slow the past couple of weeks. Are there any issues? Is there anything I can do to fix that? Are there any improvements you'd like to see? Your input is welcome and wanted!

Our AC is not punitive.

But what is it? )
