It's memeday!

Hello, friends! It's meme day. We have a simple QUESTIONS meme today. This is an OOC one. The rrrrrrrrules (look, I watched Panty and Stocking today) are:

1) Tag in with your character(s?)!
2) Reply to someone else's tag and ask them a QUESTION about their character.
3) When you answer a question posed to you, you have to ask them a question in turn!

No! Missie does not think of Lera as exceptionally talkative, because Missie herself can ramble, and she rambles right back. She is more likely to worry about the situation in reverse, and probably did once or twice, but on the whole is very comfortable with Lera and likes how easy it is for both of them to talk.

How much weight does Lera put in Missie's advice, drunk or otherwise?

A lot! She only just started to get into it and then the worlds got weird. :( Missie enjoys making up stories, playacting with herself, and thinking of fantasy scenarios. If she had been able to roleplay more, she would have made those characters everyone warns people not to make and GUYS I BOUGHT WINGS FROM THE CASH SHOP AND SHE'S A HARPY :DDD A mage harpy!! Who turns into a falcon! AND HAS PURPLE EYES because purple is the best color!

So many ideas she can't use now!

Where would Acher's story have gone if he never became a real person?

Happy! Missie likes Lera, but they aren't childhood friends or anything, so Missie doesn't feel there's any kind of position to have usurped. In a way, she "gave" Lera a friend, and it means Vati is getting along in the world and able to make close relationships. She knows Vati was made having trouble bonding with people, and she likes Lera a lot, so there's that sense of security that goes with knowing Vati has someone worth her time.

Though, she maybe hopes a little bit Lera can help her get introduced with Vati on less distant terms...

Does Lera feel guilty about it?

Thanks Lera you are so great!!

Hahaha Missie and plans. She didn't at all beyond following Duncan's story with Ravindra. Missie was not a strong roleplayer in the sense of stories and plots and mostly enjoyed character for its own sake. She would never have put together the detailed backstory for Iravati without Duncan's help. Iravati owes a lot more to Duncan than she'll probably ever understand.

Missie did try to take RP seriously because of Duncan's influence, but would have been the type of player hesitant about doing lasting damage to her characters. (So the opposite of me basically.) Hers was an episodic mindset where at the end of the day, everyone is more or less the same and okay with life again.

Where does Missie see herself 20 years down the line? Would anything change? would she want a family of her own? a family of snake-children perhaps with their own dolls to cuddle??

In this merging world? WHO EVEN KNOWS ANYMORE. She is fairly certain she won't be a nurse, but thinks becoming a cleric, druid, or paladin would be all right if she could keep healing people. Maybe less paladins. Paladins sound like they wear heavy armor and that might be hard!!

If what you mean by "snake children" is Missie turns into a giant serpent or some kind of half-snake woman and raises a diabolical heir to continue her monstrous rule over the snakelands then um yes obviously what kind of question is this

More seriously, she does want children someday. But only, like, one or two. NOT ELEVENTY BILLION, MOM.

Speaking of monsters, would Lindsey ever consider some of Zenderael's more heretical options as potential solutions to he condition?

Maybe. I think on a general principle it would be a 'no' just for the sole fact that it might endanger her child. (IE: Molavvas) While her condition does incredibly suck, it's not as epic of a risk or infectious as other terminal illness are. She can easily spend time and be there for her kid now with little hinderance. That's all that matters to her.

If she needed it to protect her child though, she'd risk it then.

OH YEAH QUESTION

[personal profile] whatdoesdequal 2013-05-07 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
How does Missie feel about herself? Is she pretty self-confident or is there a part of her that wishes she was different?
missmarionette: icon lyrics: Dreams in a Pie by Yoko Kanno (The story is over)

[personal profile] missmarionette 2013-05-07 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
She's really not confident, but not in the sense she wants to change, necessarily. She knows (thinks) she's flighty and annoying. She forgets too many things and comes to the wrong conclusions all of the time. She's easily distracted and lost in her own world. Missie likes that world and doesn't want to give it up, but is beginning to see how it can cause problems for others, too.

For the most part, her low opinion of herself doesn't get in the way because she has an even lower opinion of how people think of her. Missie tries not to judge or at least, tries not to fling those judgments, and a part of her thinks if ditzy Missie can figure that out why can't anyone else omg are you dumb. Not that she would ever say that to their faces.

What quality does Lindsey value most in herself?
whatdoesdequal: (Default)

[personal profile] whatdoesdequal 2013-05-07 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
That's...pretty hard. Lindsey is pretty hard on herself, especially given her condition and the usual occurances in her life. She probably values her intelligence pretty well, since it's pretty handy to have around.

I would probably say her parenting ability, but given all that's happened to Sam... :(

Did Missie always feel that she would become a nurse or was there some other serious career that Missie had thought about before that?

Could you imagine a story for Missie as a guild leader? Whichever one grabs you.

Asha Missie likes to stare into space when she gets bored of listening to someone, then turns to them intently and quietly whispers, "They're coming," and walks away to go do something else. She makes a puppet she calls her familiar, moves it around with telekinetic magic in deliberate uncanny valley, and responds as if he's frequently joining conversations.

She becomes fascinated by golems as she reactivates them and makes her own named Pia and treats her like a daughter. Pia dressed in gothic lolita and doesn't know how to turn her own sarcasm off, insisting she has to do everything for Missie to help keep her organized or the World Library would be a mess. This is probably true. Pia throws teenager tantrums now and then about why can't she study this aspect of forbidden magic mooooooooom no ice cream will not make this better. (Ice cream always makes it better. Ice cream is also made with bananas and ice magic right there in the Library.) Missie is protective of all golems though, even the ones that are supposedly not sentient, and takes very, very good care of them. It would be important to her they have a concept of free will and feel able to do what they want in life without being bound to the Library.

She specializes in non direct magic, such as sleep spells, shape changes, generally disruption stuff. Missie would use her terrible Asha powers to turn human enemies into cute animals as probably her self defense of choice, just so she could pet them and feed them treats and this is clearly not disturbing at all. She will sometimes cast sleep on herself in the middle of conversation if she is really that desperate to escape it.

Missie doesn't like being stuck in the World Library and leaves often, claiming she "got lost looking for a book" when concerned mages and/or golems find her in the Whimsical Woods later. When they look at her funny, she pulls the book out of a hollow tree and exclaims, "Never mind, I found it!" until it turns out it's the wrong one after all.

How would Nova feel about meeting AshaMissie?

He probably would be too blinded by AUGH ANOTHER PLAYER BECAME A GUILD LEADER to notice a lot of the nuances of an AshaMissie. In fact it would be a lot like with regular Missie where he concentrated a lot on his vendetta and kind of shoved aside the interesting quirks that would have made her likeable.

He might try to find fault with how she did things like OH YOU SURE LIKE GOLEMS I BET YOU THINK THEY ARE TOYS HUH but it would likely ring kinda hollow.

But someday perhaps he would come around and then she'd put herself to sleep while he was talking to her and HE'D HATE HER ALL OVER AGAIN

yes

What would Missie do if her alt was one of the crazy, potentially violent ones?
