OOC News
We are modifying how AC works because of the 3 OOC days to 1 IC day adjustment, but nothing has been finalized. There are more details on this post, and we would very much appreciate player input on the matter.
Also, thank you for your input so far, and bearing with us while we all adjust to phase 2! We are always open to email feedback or feedback on weekchange posts if you don’t mind your comments more public. You are beautiful people.

Nightmare Sign-Ups
This is a reminder to sign up for the fear related plot if you want, back on the previous weekchange if it interests you. We’ll be putting up more information on this around week 37/38! If you know you don’t want to be involved, or at least not initially, please let us know that as well.
Get your Greycloaks in!
This is a reminder to anybody who wanted to get in on the Greycloak shenanigans. If you want to be involved in the upcoming plot events, you should get your characters situated with the Greycloaks ASAP! Get in touch with the mods and we will help you arrange whatever needs to happen.
Help Me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, You’re My Only Hope!
On Sunday the 4th, Lisa Martinez runs into some trouble with the Greycloaks. She posts a call for help on the forums, making it clear that the Greycloaks are after her.
There is an event post for the chase here, and any characters are free to jump in and affect the course of events.
How this turns out will have consequences on the plot! Will she be saved from the Greycloaks? Will the Greycloaks capture her? Will she be killed? Will she be captured and ransomed by unscrupulous PCs? We'd like to have the end result figured out before August 18th, which gives us two weeks to figure it out and then one week to extrapolate the consequences from there. There will be a follow-up post for this plot on the 18th!
Rocks Fall, (Not Quite) Everyone Dies
On Friday, Kandre Volcano lets out a thick plume of smoke and its tremors create a small landslide that causes minor damage to a nearby town. Astonea, sitting at the base of the volcano, was known in-game for being the closest save/restock point to the Kandre Volcano dungeon. After the landslide, it becomes clear that the town must be evacuated because this volcano is going to blow sooner or later, but Pakerion doesn't have the infrastructure for an organized evacuation.
A post will be going up on the OL comm calling for help to organize an evacuation. Any characters are free to participate, whether they want to help, hinder, or just loot the homes left behind.
Once the evacuation begins, it will become clear that this is a much more urgent matter than originally thought. Geologists are seeing signs of a second, much more massive landslide (which may or may not include lava flow, they can't tell from here), and predict they have only hours to get everyone out of the area. To make matters worse, the volcano's sudden activity is also causing wild fire elementals to grow aggressive. They will harass Astonea's borders and disrupt the evacuation effort. This means the original rescuers may need rescuing themselves!
Depending on how events earlier in the week play out, characters may get some warning about Astonea's fate. This will lead into next week's big event, which will be pretty lighthearted, actually.
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN SHIFTED TO NEXT WEEK.
