OOC News
Noka has dropped, taking Jamie and Ferrus with him.
Also due to someone (GUINDO.) forgetting to do pre-AC on time, there will be no AC for March. Since our policy is that players will be given a week’s warning, players who do not receive that warning and cannot use that week to concentrate on failing characters will not be penalized. Nobody got warning for March, so nobody gets penalized.

Operation Two Towers
Enghelab’s been successfully captured and held, perhaps a little too easily. The Assassin’s Guild is holding Enghelab, which has made their involvement known to the other guilds. Now you know what the bershunters have been up to. While some of the bersunters stay behind to help keep Enghelab, the guild leaders move to help take Bastan as part of the plan, and bring some of their own with them.
Note: We neglected to mention it when last weekchange went up, but the Vahishta is accompanying Morvarid and the Asha during Operations Fellowship and Two Towers.
On Sunday, the Mazda and Spenta’s forces march south from the Kanareh, headed toward Bastan. Morvarid/Asha/Vahishta’s forces, joined by the Mano and the Ahura and Malachai(alt), head west for the Borderline, pushing any of Aerveas’s remaining forces toward Bastan to flank the city. By Friday, this operation will have been successful and Bastan will be surrounded.

Madagascar closed their ports!
Illnesses have been Hand of Mod’d and delivered to those who didn’t opt out of getting infected. If there was any character we missed, please let us know.
Clerics (and possibly the handful of druids and alchemists in Fall City) are working to cure what illnesses they can, but nearly everyone is sick, and every disease is contagious. They have their work cut out for them, and many healthcare professionals are falling prey themselves, making it exponentially harder for anyone to keep up with the epidemic. People are being encouraged to stay indoors whenever it isn’t needed and to keep up good hygiene practices. The Red Cross has moved into town and is handing out free bottles of hand sanitizer and flu masks through public distribution at grocery and convenience stores, with the aid of the national guard and Queen Omid’s guard for manpower.
Clerics are drastically overworked, and even though paladins can only temporarily alleviate symptoms, this is in high demand as a stopgap and they may find themselves overworked as well. Mana burn is a serious concern. Any alchemists in the business of mana potions will find themselves in drastically short supply, and the cost of mana potions has inflated to match both the low supply and high demand. Support spellswords with the ability to restore mana are also in high demand.
FCU’s labs are rushing to study and categorize these new illnesses, putting out calls for groups of people sharing common symptoms. They are also testing treatments, field-testing whatever seems to be effective against lab cultures. Existing antibiotics have proven effective against many new diseases, and treatment information is being passed on to the hospital and local clinics as it is discovered.
Necroticorn’s Death
The necroticorn is still alive. (There were other things going on last week with monsters and holidays, we realize.) It’s responsible for these diseases, but confronting it is so dangerous no one has been brave or strong enough to take it down yet. If you would like your character to be one of the adventurers fed up with it, you can call dibs in this post. This need not be an event-- if two (or more) of you guys want to log this out together and everyone is in agreement, we will let you have at it.
If no one kills it by midweek, we’ll assume some random adventurers finally manage to deal with the undead horse problem.

Sun:

- Morvaid’s forces move to pincer Aerveas’ forces with them.
- The Mano, the Ahura, and Malachai(alt) leave Enghelab to join up with the other forces. The assassins remain in Enghelab to hold it.
- Petrification trap! The Spenta/Mazda’s forces are on course for this. Valentine abandons Aerveas and warns them before they are caught. Trap avoided!
- Continued fighting. Several skirmishes for all forces in Everea.
- Aerveas’ forces are losing these battles and are forced to retreat to Bastan.
- Both forces meet fully around Bastan, holding it under siege. This should include: the two Saftan armies (with Lera, Gabe, the Vahishta, and Morvaid), the paladins (with Ezra), Malachai(alt), Jordan, and Rhys, along with whoever the last three elect to bring with them from Enghelab.
Position for Operation Return secured! - There will be enough downtime for camping chats/hugs/dramas/etc.

Also, I am thinking on Thursday, Acher leads some Aerveas people to attack Team Lezra's forces and try to inflict some casualties and stall them. It's not even remotely enough to stop them, but there you go.
