[MOD POST] Saturday, 5/28
On Saturday morning, your characters will wake up to find that the northwest section of Bastan has now taken over the northwest section of Fall City.
What went with it: Queen Omid and her castle.
What did not go with it: The church, paladin HQ, and the paladin facilities (barracks, training grounds, etc), as all those are in the northeast section. HOWEVER they are close enough to the break that the massive sinkhole is only a few blocks away from the church's walls.
Queen Omid and a bunch of her knights are now in Fall City, and no Vahishta to mitigate her impulse decisions. But she isn't doing anything outrageous...yet. The knights (mostly paladins) are not allowing anybody into the castle, and the military in Fall City is scrambling to make contact and figure out if there's anything they need to do about this.
MEANWHILE, the following shows up in Zenderael:
- All of Paris merges seamlessly with the Nenakret. Parisian buildings are nestled neatly between Saftan buildings, much like Bastan and Fall City. Everyone is in disarray, especially with the Khshathra now missing.
- Giza, as well as its famous pyramids, has appeared near the Undertow, relative to its Earthly position in relation to the Sphinx.
- Washington D.C. merges with Jioret in Safta. Whoops the whole US Government's chain of command just disappeared...
To say the least, people on Earth are a little panicked by the massive, city-sized holes that these cities seem to have disappeared into overnight. The UN is calling for an emergency meeting and world governments are this close to totally flipping out.
This is just a situational overview and the fallout will be expanded upon in the weekchange, once the dust has settled.
