What the hell is even going on around here anymore?

So, on top of the other more important stuff on this Sunday's local evening news, there is one small blurb that might catch some interest to a few people.

"A tragic yet incredible accident occurred in South-west Fall city early this morning, when a single mother by the name of Lindsey Stern, found what witnesses claim a 'sick, stray pitbull' had somehow snuck into her apartment. In the ensuing struggle, both Lindsey and the stray dog managed to run themselves through the living room window and fall three stories to the alleyway road below. It was only thanks to a nearby tree that managed to slow their otherwise lethal fall, however an unsuspecting driver ran over the dog that had dropped in front of him.

Police are still investigating the scene, but want to remind local residents not to invite stray animals unless they're properly examined by professional veterinarians. Lindsey Stern received serious injuries, but is recovering safely in Fall City Medical."

You also get some nice pictures of the police-taped scene, with the front-dented car and the apartment building with a noticeable broken window. All that typical stuff that you would see in any local incident. This story will also be printed in some middle page of the local paper, with pretty much the same news as the TV gave.
